So I guess it's been WELL over a year since I've posted a journal update. Hope no one was holding their breath. A lot has happened in that time. I got a new job at a production company called Caramel Pictures. We have offices in Miami, Amsterdam, London and now Dubai. The company produces TV commercials (mostly for Europe) and has been quite an experience to work with. I've learned a lot in the time I've been here and am looking forward to using my contacts and added experience to further my film career. Right now I'm a production coordinator/line producer. Two very different positions that I have to go between depending on the scale of the job. Anyways, enough about all that.
I've moved to a another apartment now, due to the fact that my previous one did not allow pets (My girl and I have subsequently gotten a Boston Terrier named Maggie - She's totally awesome - She's our snoring ninja) and annoying parrots that arrived at sunrise everyday to totally fuck up my day. So, done with that and moved on.
I've been working pretty steadily now and have gotten a good routine going on my scripts so far. I'm consistently working on two at the moment and am making some much deserved progress on them. So fingers crossed.
Finally saw Cloverfield and will be reviewing it within the next two days.
It'll be posted here
[link] for those that wish to read it. In a nut shell, it was all-right. But nothing more.
Also, if you'll notice to your left. I've posted three very short stories. VERY short. I was inspired after reading an article in Wired Magazine over Thanksgiving break. Almost all of them were great and left just enough to the imagination to spark a lovely little short-film/daydream in my head. Here's the link for it if you care to read them.
[link]Hopefully it will inspire some of you to write your own. They're a lot of fun and a great creative exercise.
If enough of you post them or link them in a post to me, I'll start a weekly or monthly contest. Prize to be determined.
Well, I'll leave you all. Hopefully I'll get to read something from some of you.
Take care and be well.
Later.

I don't see how you stayed away from DA so long. I mean, I understand priorities, duties and the general unpleasantness of life, but I'm just so damn addicted to this place heh heh.
